Under the supervision of the Community Housing Coordinator, provides residential support services and community support services to consumers with serious mental illness residing in Bridgeway Residential Facilities. Implements selected aspects of the Consumer Centered Plans with a focus on skills training in the areas of basic survival and daily independent living skills and assists in the provision of other support services for residents. Develops a respectful, helping and supportive relationship with each consumer to promote recovery and reintegration into the mainstream of community living. Staff are to be available for the entire scheduled shift; lunch and breaks may be taken but staff are still on duty and must be available for the immediate needs of consumers.

  • Supporting people in social situations to learn to feel comfortable and confident with others through appropriate interactions and build positive relationships
  • Putting aside personal beliefs to ensure that the person you are supporting has the opportunity to have the life they want for themselves. MUST be 21 years of age or older and meet the DMH credentialing requirements of a Rehabilitative Services Associate (RSA) to work in mental health residential settings.
